Resentful Robin

Despite their small size, Rhodopean robins will defend their territory with beak and claw.
Story
393 AC - I sneak a peek at the sky from my shelter, looking for any trace of dark clouds. I poke my head between the branches and pull myself up out of the bush. But the sky is clear. There's no sign of the wyvern on the horizon. I go back down to Puff, who is tending to his wounds. His downy wool is stained with red, and I clench my teeth. Maybe with my help… I focus and feel the Mana around me. I know I shouldn't take too much, but if I could just use a tiny little bit, maybe it will help Puff to heal… The leaves of the shrub shrivel as I breathe in the energy that keeps them alive, then blow it towards the Chimaera.
Just then, I hear a shrill twittering coming out of the bare branches. A robin with green, yellow and white wings flits towards the ram to give him an earful, then tries to peck at him while beating its wings furiously. I step in and try to chase it away by waving my arms around. Puff needs rest after his fight, and deserves to be left alone. That's when I notice the nest of twigs, which was previously hidden but is now uncovered. The bird beats its wings and gives me a couple of pecks between shrieks. And you know what? I deserve it. Its clutch of eggs is now in danger from predators, and it's all my fault.
