393 AC - I grab Bubbles' fin to let him pull me along, because there's not a single second to waste. On the ledge, the three Eidolons already need to hold on tight to avoid being swept away by the surge. Zaza and I had warned everyone that this place was dangerous! At regular intervals, gravity currents would grab hold of the water that had accumulated on the archipelagos to form the huge water spheres of the Thermaic Quadrant. But it seemed like not everyone had listened, or even read the map! Even way up here, I can see the Three Little Pigs fighting as hard as they can to avoid getting sucked in. They've discarded their bags, packs and cumbersome gear, but it doesn't seem to be enough…

Deep down, I know they're just Eidolons and don't really fear anything – except remembering a really bad experience and having it become a habit for them. But we're an Exalt now, and that changes everything. We need to act like heroes! What would Sigismar and Wingspan do? Or Kojo and Booda? They were my favorite duos. That's the question I asked myself before jumping in, and the answer was obvious: They would have jumped in without hesitation. That's why I needed to do the same, even if it meant I'd get a proper scolding later. After all, with great power comes great responsibility!
