393 AC - There's a presence lurking here. I can smell it, like a faint scent. Something has taken up residence in this archipelago, a predator that has managed to hide from me, despite my Irises. But it's here, all right; I can tell from the way the wind blows through the branches. There's a scent of musk, eyes hidden behind the shrubs, a presence in the absence, drawn in relief.
