Throughout her childhood, Sol was lulled by the stories of her older brother, Salvador. Despite their age difference, he always made time — when he wasn’t shut away in his study researching them — to tell her about the Leviathans. Over time, his fascination became hers as well. When he set out aboard a flying vessel to get as close as possible to Garuda the Buzzard, she was overjoyed, eagerly awaiting his return with stories, anecdotes, and photographs. But he never came back. His fragile craft was lost at sea, torn apart by the powerful wings of the titan. Love then turned to hatred. Fascination turned into rage. As soon as she could, she joined the Bravos fyrds to become a huntress, driven by the desire to see these monsters fall beneath her razor-sharp spears. When the Expeditionary Corps learned that many Leviathans were roaming the Sea of Clouds, Sol and her Company were among the first to volunteer to safeguard the fleet.
