The ice is finally starting to melt. The freezing winds of the Cais Adarra are behind us now, and the Reveal Season for Whispers from the Maze is finally here. It’s time for our expeditions to move forward!

Starting now and leading up to the in-store release of Whispers from the Maze on June 6, 2025, get ready for a deep dive into the expansion with exclusive card reveals, in-depth articles, exciting upcoming events, and more!

The ascent through the Cais Adarra was a challenge for our expeditions, but the effort was worth it, if only to witness Kuraokami, the Ice Dragon, take flight again and soar over the highest peaks of the mountain. Their destination is now clear—the enigmatic City of Scholars—a place that might hold the answers they’re looking for and their next stop on their search for the source of the Tumult.

When the expeditions get there, the city, or what is left of it, is a strange sight to behold. Only crumbling ruins remain, surrounding a colossal chasm that plunges into unfathomable darkness. While a part of our expeditions establishes a settlement on the surface, the other begins its descent to discover an enigmatic labyrinth in the city’s depths.

Many treasures may lie within those ancient halls, but be careful not to delve too far—some things are better left in the dark.

Whispers from the Maze introduces a total of 282 cards, including 12 returning Heroes from Beyond the Gates. With brand new mechanics, some of our Core Set heroes get a shiny new kit to build powerful strategies around. Here are the 12 Heroes reprinted in Whispers from the Maze:

Adventure cards are back in booster packs with Whispers from the Maze. You will find one of those beautiful landscapes showcasing the City of Scholars’ neighbouring regions every 4 booster packs.

Build your own scenes with triptych cards! Some cards from Whispers from the Maze feature entire scenes divided between three characters from the set. When you combine them together, you can recreate a scene that will give you a glimpse of our expeditions’ life in the new settlement.
