On July 5 and 6, the French WCQ took place in Lille. This is one of our biggest Qualifiers of the season, with 660 players vying for the title of WCQ Champion, and the Top 4 earning a qualification for the Altered World Championship Finals!
We had a fantastic weekend filled with engaging gameplay and fun twists, all happening in a really friendly environment. We were genuinely pleased to see a few unexpected decklists climb their way into the Top 16. Get ready for many more WCQs planned throughout the season, taking place in numerous countries and even online!

Results from the World Championship Qualifier Lille in France
After two days of intense tournament play, Pompote emerges as the grand winner of WCQ Lille, leading a Treyst & Rossum deck. He faces Etigma and his Afanas & Senka deck in the finals. In total, four players qualified for the World Finals: Pompote, Etigma, Kentin with an Afanas & Senka deck, and Sparky with a Nevenka & Blotch deck. Congratulations to all four!
