A few months ago, we unveiled our Year One plan for the Altered World Championship circuit. Our goal is to offer a simple and accessible competitive experience for all Altered players.

To kick things off, we're hosting three online qualifiers on Board Game Arena. These qualifiers are open to everyone and will be tailored to different time zones.

To prepare for these qualifiers, we're updating how your Altered account connects with BGA. To maintain fairness and prevent issues with unique cards, you can now only link one Altered account to a single BGA account.

If you're experiencing issues playing Altered on Board Game Arena, please ensure your Altered ID is linked to only one BGA account. You'll need to revoke access from any secondary BGA accounts or delete those duplicate accounts. You can disconnect your Altered ID from the Account tab within your BGA Preferences, or you can directly delete any duplicate BGA accounts.

Be aware that using more than one BGA account for ranked games will now lead to moderation. Should the issue persist, please contact the Board Game Arena support team.

More information will be communicated very soon on the format, how and when to register to the online qualifier.
