The Whispers from the Maze Tumult Championships are coming to a close. Your descent into the depths of the labyrinth has led you through dark corridors to the heart of an ancient underground city.

There lurks The Hunger, once the incarnation of the City of Scholars, but now a shadow of its former self. Corrupted, The Hunger feeds on the Sap flowing through the city's walls, but the resource is growing scarce, and it has now long been consumed by hunger and madness.

When the Expeditionary Corps discovers The Hunger, a decision must be made that will determine the fate of this ancient entity and the entire city.

This was the decision we put in your hands a little over a month ago, at the start of the Tumult Championships. From August 15th to September 15th, 2025, Altered players faced one another in stores for the title of Tumult Champion, with each winner earning one point for their faction.

As a reminder, there were two possible choices:

• Eradicate The Hunger, if Yzmir, Bravos, and Axiom earned the majority of points.
• Appease The Hunger, if Ordis, Muna, and Lyra earned the majority of points.

The results were incredibly close right up to the end, but the alliance of the Yzmir, Bravos, and Axiom factions ultimately came out on top. Attempts to fight the corruption within The Hunger failed, and despite the revelations about what was hiding behind this terrible entity, the Expeditionary Corps made the choice to eliminate it.

Bravos and Muna were the two eligible factions that came out on top during this Whispers from the Maze Community Event. As mentioned during the Tumult Championships announcement, Ordis and Yzmir had already earned their rewards during the Trial by Frost Tumults, so they were not eligible this time around.

With a leading 20.5% win rate, Bravos has earned the Common and Rare versions of Sofia, First Outpost, while Muna, with a 12.5% win rate, has earned the Rare-F version.

As they emerge to the surface, the tensions that erupted during the battle against The Hunger are far from over, and the decision weighs heavily on the Exalts. While a beam of light pierces the sky on the horizon, some of the contingents found Sofia, the First Outpost of Asgartha, under the supervision of Bravos and Muna. The rest of the Expedition Corps prepares to continue their journey and face the violent currents of the Tumult that separate them from this strange beacon of light.

This card will be unlocked in each of its versions—Common, Rare, and Rare-F—on every Altered account, whether already existing or created in the future. Each of these versions has a different behavior from other cards: they are available in unquantified amounts on your account. As such, you can add a playset to your deck, but they cannot be sold or traded. You can of course print them as many times as you wish with the Print-on-demand system.
