With the reveals for Skybound Odyssey still ongoing, it's time to get ready for a new Season of Organized Play! Join a pre-release starting September 26 and start your journey on the Skybound Odyssey Adventure Pass. Let's look at all the exclusive rewards you can unlock this season!

Expeditions are Altered events organized in local game stores, and players of all skill levels can participate. Every week, many game stores host events where you can play Altered and meet other players.

Each Altered event you participate in allows you to earn various rewards: promo boosters, levels on your Adventure Pass, and for competitive events, playmats, exclusive cards, and much more!

There are many different ways to play Altered: Standard Constructed, the most common game mode, as well as Draft or Multiplayer. Altered Expeditions are an opportunity to discover the game with the community while unlocking the season's rewards!

Season 4 Promo Boosters are 3-card booster packs distributed only through Organized Play that you can get as rewards for any Expedition your attend. They contain exclusive promotional cards and even a chance at unique cards!

In Skybound Odyssey, you’ll be encountering majestic leviathans roaming the sky over the sea of clouds. But they haven’t always been this huge and magnificent—in fact, most of them were cute little scoundrels in their youths. Except Zaratan who never did anything wrong ever.

These alternative-art cards are available in Common, Rare and Rare-F.

When attending any in-store Altered event, in addition to Promo Boosters, you can also unlock exclusive rewards on your Adventure Pass, no matter your result!

When the season starts—Season 4 starts September 26—remember to activate your Adventure Pass on your Altered account (you can find it under www.altered.gg/profile/adventure-pass if you are connected). When activating your pass, you’ll be presented with a choice between the 6 different factions. Choose one of them and start unlocking the associated rewards right away!

For Season 4, the exclusive Adventure Pass alternative-art rewards feature Skybound Odyssey’s Signets, versatile spells that let you choose between 3 different options when playing them. There is three copies to unlock in all rarities for each faction!

To progress on your Adventure Pass, register to official Altered events in your local game store, and remember to pre-register to events through the Altered website or application so your store can link your account to their own registrations and award you your level.

Each event rewards you with 1 additional level, with a maximum of 15 levels, at which point you’ll have completed your Adventure Pass. There is currently no possibility to switch factions during the Season and you cannot start over in another faction when you've completed your Adventure Pass so choose carefully!

Levels are not automatically added after the event, your store first has to validate your registration to make sure you did attend the event, and then close the event. It might sometimes take a few days, especially during weekends so do not hesitate to reach out to your store if you think you’re missing a level!

Season 4 starts on September 26 with Skybound Odyssey pre-releases. Any Altered event you attend after September 26 will count toward your progression on the Season 4 Adventure Pass. Remember to activate it if you plan on attending pre-releases!

Season 3 will end on September 25 at midnight where it will no longer be possible to create Season 3 events. Stores will have the following week to close and validate player registration for these last events, and on October 3, you will unlock the rewards you earned through your Adventure Pass for Season 3.
