Altered is a game that has been built largely thanks to its incredible community, and we couldn’t be happier about it. In the last year, many of you have reached out to offer your help in promoting Altered within your communities and we want to channel that amazing energy into meaningful action.

With the HIVE Missions, we’re aiming to help you grow your Altered community.

The HIVE Missions program is specifically designed to reward community members who help us recruit new players and new stores to Altered.

Its main purpose is to give you a space to propose ideas, discuss what can be achieved, and receive support, structure, and rewards for your time and dedication.

• Register here (even if you are already a member of the HIVE).
• Once done, send a PM and a friend request on Discord to: intox34.
• We will review your profile and let you know if you are accepted.
• If accepted, you will be invited to join #The Hive, a dedicated space on our official Discord.

Once accepted, you’ll be offered a 30-minute call with a member of our sales team to:

• Discuss your understanding of the program.
• Review your ideas and questions.
• Provide training.
• Send you any products you may need.

To be eligible, a mission must target a new audience—people who do not know Altered yet. The goal is to introduce new players to the game, create communities where there aren’t yet, help stores grow their own community and sustain their investments in Altered.

• Be an in-person activity (no online events).
• Not be part of your paid job (e.g., being the official demo staff of your store).
• Be advertised (on social media, printed material, etc).
• Be significant enough in scale to count as a mission.

• ✔️ Organizing a demo afternoon at your local store or boardgame bar, with the store supporting and advertising it.
• ✔️ Running demos at a local convention where you’ve been provided one or more tables.
• ❌ Hosting a casual demo for a couple of friends.

Since the goal is to demo Altered, we rely on you to provide the necessary play material for at least a two-player experience, including starter decks (ideally all of them).

If you require something very specific, let us know when submitting your mission.

Depending on your needs and your project, we will send you the appropriate materials (dependent on stock availability).

Once your mission is approved and you receive your kit, all you need to do is complete your mission. You may run it whenever you want; you don’t need to update us beforehand. Simply notify us once it’s completed.

After your mission is over, you must report it here.

• A store announcement displaying the date of the demo event,
• A social media post advertising the event and its purpose,
• A video of the event in progress,
• Photos of participating players.

Send your proof(s) in a PM to InToX on Discord once your mission report is filled in.

Disclaimer: Validated missions are eligible for rewards whether they were successful or not. Your effort is what matters.

• If you organized a demo in the afternoon and only 2–3 people showed up, that’s totally fine—we learn from every experience, next time will be better.
• If you planned an event but it did not happen, it cannot be rewarded. (Always make sure to provide proof that the event actually took place.)

• For each validated mission: 1 full faction adventure pass (credited at the end of the season).
• For every 3 validated missions (repeatable): €50 in POD credit (credited at the end of the season).

These rewards are cumulative.
