Altered's Season 4 is on the horizon! As the Skybound Odyssey reveals have just begun, it's time to tell you more about what awaits you this season in terms of organized play.

After its great success last season for Whispers from the Maze, where the event was at full capacity within minutes, the online Demo Deck Tournament returns for Skybound Odyssey.

In partnership with the A.W.O.L., Altered invites you to discover the six new heroes of Skybound Odyssey with six demo decks that also contain new cards from the set!

The top player of each faction will be awarded 20 promo boosters and 6 Skybound Odyssey booster packs.

These six decks will then remain available to players to discover the game and the set—perfect for playing Altered with new players!

Explore the set in-store before anyone else by participating in a pre-release starting September 26. Pre-release kits are evolving—from now on, each kit contains a guaranteed unique card!

Register at your local store and build a 30-card deck with the 7 boosters from your pre-release kit. Choose your hero and complete your deck with up to 3 different factions for unprecedented synergies!

Here’s what you can find in a Skybound Odyssey pre-release kit:

• 7 Skybound Odyssey booster packs
• 1 Skybound Odyssey unique card (in English)
• 1 Skybound Odyssey acrylic first player token
• 1 set of premium Skybound Odyssey adventure cards
• 1 punch-out marker card
• 1 deckbuilding guide

The pre-releases mark the beginning of Season 4 of Skybound Odyssey’s Organized Play. Participating in these events, starting on September 26, contributes to your progression in the Season 4 Adventure Pass. Season 3 ends on September 25 at 11:59 PM. Game stores will have one week to finalize and validate any remaining events.

If you're participating in a pre-release, don't forget to activate your pass on September 26 to start earning your rewards!

Join us in Paris on October 17-19, 2025 for the grand finale of Altered's first competitive circuit. Be part of the three-day celebration that will crown the Altered 2025 World Champion !

On the agenda: a Last Chance Qualifier to snag the last 8 spots in the Championship, followed by the finals, where the 32 best players in the world will face off. Numerous side events are also planned—Sealed 3v3, but also multiplayer 2v2, Boss Battles, a lore event in a "booster war" format where you can decide the future of Asgartha, and Standard for those who still want to duke it out!

Free visitor tickets are available so you can attend the event without necessarily participating in the main event! You’ll have the opportunity to meet Altered artists, get your cards signed, and buy exclusive Worlds accessories. Discovery sessions will be available to introduce your friends and family to the game, and a play area for children—the Kodama Academy—will welcome the youngest!

At the end of the season, the Tumult Championships will close out Organized Play with a competitive event that spans several weeks. During this period, each store can host a Tumult event that rewards the winner, the Top 8, and the top players of each faction.

A Community Event also takes place during the Tumult, gathering players around a common goal. This event allows them to influence the game's story and receive personalized rewards based on the results!
