Reading time
With the release of Roots of Corruption and the announcement of the project’s conclusion, an incredible number of you have placed orders for the Print on Demand service. Seeing your enthusiasm for completing your collections is heartwarming—and we get it, we’re finalizing our own binders too.
In response to the daily influx of new orders, we have been in close contact with our printing partner for several weeks to secure a production schedule capable of meeting this high demand.
Production Capacity and Timeline
As of today, over 17,000 packs are awaiting production. Our partner has confirmed a total capacity of 21,000 packs, divided into three production waves:
- Wave 1 (5,000 packs - Full): Shipping begins starting May 19, 2026.
- Wave 2 (7,000 packs - Full): Shipping begins starting May 26, 2026.
- Wave 3 (9,000 packs - OPEN): Shipping begins starting June 1, 2026.
Due to the upcoming cessation of the Altered project's operations (servers, logistics), Wave 3 (the slot currently displayed on altered.gg) will also mark the closing date of the POD service.
Last chance to place an order for Wave 3 (subject to availability): May 25, 2026, at 6:00 AM CET.
The pack counter on the website has been updated to reflect this change.
Note: Currently pending orders will be updated shortly and distributed across the three waves based on their date of submission. We invite you to check your order dashboard for more information.
Set 7 : Neverending Journey
We will soon be revealing the cards from Neverending Journey, but it will not be possible to add them to this final POD.
We did everything in our power to make it happen. However, between the massive influx of orders and the strict production limits imposed by the project's conclusion (scheduled for the end of May), we had to face the facts: we are unable to add the new production slots that would be necessary to cover the demand for Set 7.
Furthermore, given the limited production capacity remaining in Wave 3, we do not want to create frustration by allowing only a few players to print this set within the remaining slots, to the detriment of the vast majority of you who would not have the opportunity.
What’s next for the Print-on-demand service?
Even though the POD service as you know it today is coming to an end, we have entered discussions with a potential new professional partner who may be interested in offering a similar service to the community, operating independently of our servers.
We will keep you informed of the progress of this project in the near future.
