It has been a little over a year since we launched our Musubi program. Through this program, we aim to reward members of the Altered community for their many and diverse contributions, whether it be content creation, illustrations, stories, cosplays, developing tools players use daily or building and creating the community we have today.

This year, 25 new people are joining the Musubi program and will be able to contribute to the development of Altered throughout 2025. Just like in the first year, every participant in the Musubi program will receive a copy of every card from the current set (Skybound Odyssey) as well as the two upcoming sets of 2026.

Here are the community members joining Musubi 2025 and the categories for which each one was selected.

Musubi 2024 Alternative Arts

Members of the Musubi also have the honor of contributing to the creation of reprints of cards well-known to players. In August 2024, we invited the 13 Musubi members to choose the cards they wished to work on. We are very pleased to reveal today the 6 new versions of the following cards, which were selected and created with their input.

These cards will be unlocked on October 3rd in each of their versions—Common, Rare, and Rare-F—on every Altered account, whether already existing or created in the future. These versions are available in unlimited quantities on your account. As such, you can add a playset of them to your deck, but they cannot be sold or traded. You can, of course, print them as many times as you like using Print-on-Demand.
