393 AC - Hmm. This was not part of the plan. I look up at the floating city and its enormous balloons filled with helium. I've heard that if you breathe that stuff in, your voice gets all high-pitched and nasally. I'll have to try that someday. But for now… The Wayfarer. With its upside-down roofs, big tops and docks. Just the name alone: Wayfarer. Like the Tisdhera Clan are the only travelers in the group. Pfff. Someone should tell 'em that "Lyra" and "traveler" are basically synonymous. And yes, I do know what a synonymous is! Who says I'm no good with words? Oh, quiet, you old paint puddle, I'm not talking to you. Anyway, right now they're up there over the Screed, looking down at us through their telescopes. But pretty soon, a whole bunch of paint-slathered jokers will be showing up. The Wayfarer, home of clowns, painters… and maybe even make-up…
